‘Welcome’

‘From 20 to 26 June, Refugee Week 2016 will celebrate the welcome shown to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, and seek to encourage and inspire communities to continue to welcome new arrivals in the weeks, months and years to come.’

Local Events:

• ‘Offering Sanctuary’: Wednesday 15th June 2016, 8pm, St Thomas’ Church, Southborough.  This service in preparation for Refugee Week will include Bern O’Donoghue and some of her Dead Reckoning boats (for more information please see the Refugee Week website and an article in The Guardian).
• Reflection: Sunday 19th June, Bessels Green Baptist Church Sevenoaks.  We will be including prayers and a reflection for Refugee Week in our services.
