I found this link really helpful and challenging.

I don’t know about you but I sometimes struggle to understand the “mechanics” of prayer, hearing from God and sensing God’s presence (having said that I am more comfortable with thinking I have heard God speak to me as I believe God speaks to us often through our imaginations, what we see, the things we experience, etc.).

Anyway, I’ll hold back from making this into an article!
