General Election 2015 – Resources

With the General Election coming up, we have found a number of websites that we think may be useful in helping Christians to think about how to vote and their place in the political process.

1. The Evangelical Alliance: has a website dedicated to the election with various links, including the websites of 14 political parties. The March/April edition of the Idea magazine is a politics special, with features such as a comparison of the different major parties’ policies on a number of key issues.
2. CARE: a selection of web-based resources such as bible studies and articles.
3. Votewise 2015 by Guy Brandon: a book that ‘aims to help Christians understand how to think about the issues that effect us the most from a Christian perspective: the economy, debt and austerity; Europe and immigration; the environment; the NHS; education.’ From the Jubilee Centre.
4. Christian Premier Radio: are running a series of hustings called ‘Election Tonight’ in April at The Chapel, Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.
