Internet Awareness for Parents

Do your children spend a lot of time online?

Do you worry that you don’t know what they are doing?

As technology develops, many parents can feel that they are being left behind. News stories can lead us to think that there is danger in every chat room, social networking site and behind every computer screen, but is this really the case?

To help answer these questions we are holding an Internet Awareness evening for parents on 17 April, led by Kent County Council’s e-safety officer. This will not be a technical session and anyone who is a parent or carer is invited to come along. Please also invite other parents who might be interested – we are organising this event as part of our service to the local community, and are keen that as many people as possible benefit from it.

There is no charge for attending but it would be helpful if you could register in advance using the form below.
