We have a huge variety of teams that serve our congregation and community on a weekly or monthly basis.

Creche

We run a caring and fun toddler and baby crèche during our services on a Sunday morning.  If you would like to join the Creche team (this will be subject to a DBS check), please contact Jessica Jamieson using the blue button below:

Children

Powerhouse is our children’s group for 3-11 year olds, held every Sunday during the morning service.  We enjoy songs, games, quizzes and more, and are always on the look out for energetic and fun-loving people to come and help us!  If you would like to join the Powerhouse team (subject to a DBS check), please contact Anna Burrows using the blue button below:

Young People

We have 2 vibrant groups for our young people (11-16 yr olds).  Connect meets on Friday evenings for a time to relax and have fun together.  Going Live meets on Sundays during the morning service and is a place for our young people to support each other and grow in their knowledge and faith of God.  If you would like to join the Connect team or the Going Live team (this will be subject to a DBS check), please contact Josh Amott using the blue button below:

Hospitality

Everyone appreciates good food and drink!  We have some wonderful teams of people who provide: refreshments after our Sunday morning services and at special events; a weekly hot meal at our Senior Citizens Wednesday Lunch Club; and meals for those facing stressful family situations (such as serious accident or illness, bereavement, birth of a new baby etc.).  If you would like to join one of our ‘Coffee’ teams, please contact Cheryl Quarry.  If you would like to help prepare, cook or wash up for our Seniors, please join our ‘Lunch Club’ team by contacting Andy Potter.  Or if you would like to provide a meal for those in need, join our ‘BGBC Meal Providers’ team by contacting Fiona Hudson.  Please use the relevant contact button below:

Prayer and Pastoral Support

We all need a little extra help and support at some point during our lives.  Our Prayer and Pastoral Care teams provide essential support and prayer to both those in our congregation and those in our local community on Sundays and throughout the week.  If you would like to join our Prayer and Pastoral Care team, please contact Andy Potter using the contact button below:

Floral Displays

Do you love creating beautiful floral arrangements?  We are blessed to have a wonderful team that brightens up our church building each week with their stunning floral arrangements, but they are looking for some new helpers.  Team members are asked to create 3 arrangements per year, and to distribute flower bouquets once a month.  If you would like to join the Flower Ministry team, or for further information, please speak to Margaret Martin after one of our Sunday morning services, or contact the Church Office using the button below:

Food Bank

As a congregation we support the Sevenoaks Food Bank.  This organisation coordinates donations of dry and non-perishable goods to those in need in the Sevenoaks area.  To donate suitable items, please bring them to church and place them in the large yellow dustbin at the front of the church sanctuary.  For any questions or enquiries about the Food Bank, please contact Sarah Wood using the contact button below:
